Brenda has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ohio University with majors in human resources and business management. She enjoyed working in human resources at Swagelok before joining the BDS team in 2002. She rejoined BDS in 2012 as marketing coordinator where she planned educational seminars, shareholder meetings, and client appreciation events. In 2014, she transitioned into the financial advisory role.
Brenda has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. She holds the FINRA Series 7 securities registration, as well as the Series 66 Uniform Combined Law Examination registration.
She has received the Professional Plan Consultant™ (PPC™) designation, which signifies specialized training on retirement plan management and administration and ERISA compliance. Attainment of the PPC credential demonstrates understanding of the six critical service issues plan sponsors face and how to address shortfalls.
